SPLITGATE CHARITY TRAILER
Evan Schallack edited a trailer for the SplitGate Community Charity Tournament, pushing the tournament to new heights. Garnering 15,000+ views, the trailer moved many players to watch and donate to the Trevor Project, an LGBTQ+ Mental Health Hotline.
THE TRAILER
Tapping into the humor of the SplitGate community, Evan aimed to satirize the Block Buster Trailer Format while maintaining a tone appropriate for the Trevor Project.
IMPACT
The SplitGate Community had an overwhelmingly positive response to the trailer, with a 99% positive upvote rate on r/Splitgate, the SplitGate Subreddit. With over +15,000 views and +270 upvotes, the trailer stayed at the front page of the subreddit for 24 hours and remains in the top posts of this month.
RESULTS
With Financial support from the SplitGate Developer Team and an outpouring of community support, the tournament raised over $2,500 and was viewed on Twitch at rates higher than projected numbers.
